His idea was to install new domes for exhaust in white room.

Problem
The existing plastic “shields” of the exhaust system funnel kept warping due to the high temperature that they were exposed to when running the machine in the white room -- 400C.

Idea
Use something the same size that can withstand high temperatures without melting.

Solution
These (see image below) are your average stainless steel cooking bowls from which the bottoms were cut out in order to fit them on the exhaust system in the white room. They were purchased at the local Walmart for less than $10 dollars each and were the exact size of the existing plastic fixtures. Best of all, they were not affected by the extreme temperatures that the machine generates—problem solved!
